VMConnector is also a full Web Services suite that enables you to connect to VirtueMart and build your own applications.
With VMConnector, you can write an app for any purpose, any operating system and connect to almost any data source. The possibilites are endless!
For example, using VMConnector's API you could build a tool that automatically synchronises your store with Quickbooks, or write your own app that will connect VirtueMart to your existing stock management database. If your program will accept an external input, or it runs off an externally accessible database, an app can be written that will interface the two.
This is exactly how the .NET VMConnector Client works - it's simply built using .NET technology and integrating with the VMConnector web service.
