I've got an invalid license file error message?
If you get a license error message using VMConnector, here are some possible causes:
-
Corrupted license file:
-
Please note that license file (auto_lic.txt) can not be edited and changed at all, otherwise you will get a corrupted license file message.
- License files are VMConnector version specific! You can not use a license file version 1.0.32 or below with the VMConnector ver 1.0.4.
-
- License file is not valid for this server:
- Purchased licenses have unlimited user access and domain name restrictions. This means that if you purchased a license that has been issued for the domain name "www.mywebsite.com" it will not work for "www.firstsite.com"! You will get a license error message: "auto_lic.txt...is not valid for this server".
