Security Enhanced for VMConnector access
Want to minimize VMConnector access rights to Joomla?
This article refers only to Joomla 1.5.x and Virtuemart 1.1.x versions
To avoid giving full accesses to the USER-ID and PASSWORD used with VMConnector, you can very easily restrain authorizations by:

Giving Admin rights within the Virtuemart User administration screen as usual (link ).

AND, by giving registered rights only within the Joomla User administration screen.
This will allow you to manage your Virtuemart sale orders and shop products catalog with this user-id and password as required, BUT, it will prevent anybody to use this user-id and password to access online the Joomla or Virtuemart administrator screen.
