Can we integrate VMConnector with JD Edwards?
One possible way to integrate with JD Edwards
Yes web services in general are made for integration as long as the target system, JD Edwards in this case is also open for interaction through APIs (Application Programming Interface).
J.D. Edwards OneWorld API allows rapid integration, so the solution would look like this:
(Joomla+Virtuemart+VMConnector: Server side) <--> (Java or .NET: Client side) <--> (J.D. Edwards OneWorld API) <-->( J.D. Edwards)
NOTE: J.D. Edwards OneWorld API offers web services through iWay formatted XML RPC which enalbles Java, MS .NET or other types of clients to call its APIs.
More information on J.D. Edwards OneWorld API (look for Rapid Integration ):
In this case the best way to make it happen would be to take a local programmer for :
- Java or .NET client side calling
- J.D. Edwards OneWorld API interacting with
- J.D. Edwards
And we can offer our VMConnector / Virtuemart / Joomla consulting services for development support.
