Master Virtuemart catalog and slave web sites

I would like to use one Virtuemart Web site as MASTER and update SLAVE VM sites with only some selected products and categories from the MASTER.

How can VMConnector and the VMCClient can help me on this?

This is quite easy with the VMCClient which is also open source to allow you to modify it if required.

1. You can update maintain the master site using VMCClient for all categories and products
   
   
2. You can use the VMCClient to select in one shot only the categories for which you would like to get the products.
   
   Procedure:
   
   
   • From the "Catalog Categories" tab, use the CTRL button to select 1 to Categories.
     
     
   • Then on the same tab click the "Get VM products based on your Category selection" button.
     
     
   • In the "Catalog Products" tab all the products can be uploaded to the slave Web site.

NOTE: If you need more control over the categories or products, you can go one step further and export to MS Excel, where you can do all the required filters and then upload directly to slave Virtuemart web sites.
